At our start, there were mobile phones, but the iPhone was still 4 years away. There was no Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Windows XP had been released to fanfare reviews in the autumn of 2001. Wireless networking needed expert set up. (The list goes on!)
Today, the new technologies rushing towards us are new digital telephone systems (every home will need a digital phone by 2025), and the many aspects of Security. Viruses, Malware and spyware. Impacting your finances and personal information. Cyber Security is the new “Buzz Phrase”.
And of course “Work from Home” is having any number of consequences in how people are using their technology.
Meanwhile some services have continued throughout the period – equipment advice, purchase and installation, helping to get best value from BT and other technology providers, software support and most of all, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
And most of this can be done immediately, without needing to come to your office or home using secure remote access tools.
